We only rent for full days. We greatly apologize to anyone to whom this policy has inconvenienced. This is an effort to make the policy clear and definitive so that there are no misunderstandings.

Why we do not rent partial day or hourly rental pricing:
We have never in 19 years rented hourly. We are not exclusively a rental facility and our mechanics are overwhelmed in the Spring and Summer with repair work and builds. We used to do half-day rentals, but that became something of a burden on the service facility. We can revisit the issue this winter, looking at rental demand and time constraints. At present, we are not equipped to support partial day rentals.

As to why we cannot make an exception for anyone’s unusual situation, it is because it would be unfair to others who have payed the full day’s price. (…and if we make numerous exceptions to be fair to everyone, then we no longer have a policy, and the service facility is once again over-stressed.)
